Our Practice

Kiran Nayak, M.Arch

Kiran Nayak is an experienced professional architect with a broad background in architecture, design & design technology, having worked in both India and the USA.

Kiran is the Principal Architect and Co-Founder at Tall Storeys Collaborative.
Additionally, he is an Associate at BAR Architects & Interiors, a California-based practice founded in 1966. Kiran is deeply involved in projects at BAR and also serves as their Digital Design Manager, providing leadership and strategy for BIM, digital tools & workflows.
Kiran’s is highly skilled in space planning, spatial “storytelling” and enjoys the problem-solving challenges that complex design projects provide. Every project is an opportunity to create evocative and meaningful spaces.
He holds a Master's degree (M.Arch) from the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc) and a B.Arch from University of Mysore.
Kiran has had the privilege of working with and being mentored by notable figures in the architecture profession, including Glenn Murcutt, Tom Wiscombe, and Liam Young. These mentors likely played a significant role in shaping his architectural perspective and skills.
Kiran Nayak has worked on a diverse range of projects, ranging from custom homes, wineries, and clinics to more extensive undertakings like museums, hotels, and hospitals. This breadth of experience indicates a versatile skill set and the ability to work on projects of varying scales and complexity.

Kiran uses his experience, skilll and his grasp of cutting-edge technology to streamline the process of planning, communication and design management. He leverages the latest digital tools to help his execute his vision and assist clients with visualizing their future homes as an integral part of the design process.

Apoorva Nayak, M.B.A.

Apoorva Nayak means business. She simultaneously manages the administration of our practice and works closely with our clients to choreograph the interior design and styling of each project.

Apoorva's discerning eye for detail, an unwavering focus on impeccable finishes, and an uncompromising dedication to quality, Apoorva ensures that every project we undertake is nothing short of extraordinary.
