Profile of a City is an immersive sculpture that combines art, architecture and storytelling through the use of light and shadow and materials left over from the construction and fabrication of window systems generously provided by Moon & Baker.

Using these extruded aluminum profiles as the primary sculptural element, Tall Storeys Collaborative uses directional light to create evocative silhouettes of a future Indian city. Combined with an ethereal soundscape, the sculpture transports the viewer to this city, and allows their imagination to wander through its streets and amidst its towers. It transforms what would otherwise have been discarded into a miniature world within a world and ultimately allows the viewer to speculate and introspect about the nature of our cities and our role within them.
